Driving Directions
Take Hwy 10 East straight on out to the desert. Once you pass the signs for Palm Springs you will see signs for Joshua Tree National Park, Yucca Valley and Highway 62 East. Take this Exit – heading east onto Hwy. 62 . (Highway 62 is also known as 29 Palms Highway) Joshua Tree is about 20 minutes from that point.
After you drive thru the town of Yucca Valley you will see a sign saying you have entered Joshua Tree. Our downtown corridor is about 5 miles from that sign.
Don’t miss the turn onto Sunkist Road!
Once you arrive in downtown Joshua Tree (Cross street will be Park Blvd. – which is also the road to Joshua Tree National Park Entrance ) stay on Hwy. 62 and continue for 3 miles past that point. You will pass our local Hospital on the right. (Whitefeather Road). After you pass the Hospital start looking on the right for a sign for Sunkist Road. It is about a mile down the road from that point. Make a right hand turn from Hwy 62 onto Sunkist Road. There is a small blue sign for Spin and Margie’s right on Highway 62 and Sunkist Road. Drive up the road for 750 feet and make your first right turn into the fenced property surrounded by trees. There will be a sign for Spin and Margie’s Desert Hideaway after you make your turn. Park close to the Inn and find your room. If we are not there to greet you, we will leave the door to your suite will be open and the key will be in the room.
(Note: if you see signs for Sunfair Road you have gone too far on Hwy. 62, simply turn around and Sunkist will then be your first left turn.)
Take I-15 North to Hwy. 215 to Rte 60 East. Route 60 will merge with Hwy. 10 East. (please follow the directions from the Los Angeles area for the remainder of your trip.)
Take Hwy. 95 south. Right onto Hwy. 62 west. You will be in 29 Palms on Hwy. 62. Drive about 12 to 15 miles heading west.
Take Highway 62 West heading towards Joshua Tree.
Drive for about 12 to 15 miles, you will see the entering Joshua Tree sign. ( You will pass the Copper Mountain College on your right)
Right after you see signs for Sunfair Road (do not take Sunfair Road)get in your left hand lane on Highway 65 and make your next left hand turn into Sunkist Road. (There is a small blue sign on the roadway that says Spin and Margie’s) Drive up the road for 750 feet and make your first right hand turn into the fenced in property that is surrounded by trees. There will be a sign for Spin and Margie’s Desert Hideaway after you make your turn. Park close to the Inn and find your room. The door to your cabin will be unlocked and the key will be in the room.
